There’s an intriguing mix of high-end boutiques with stylish funk, as well as breweries, live music and places to find Nashville specialties like hot chicken.

The surrounding area shops like Nashville Boot Co. and King Baby elicit the Gulch’s low-key past, but there are plenty of upscale offerings, including E. Allen, Parish, Kittenish and—for superb footwear—Lucchese Bootmaker.
