Culturally diverse and a hive of creativity, East Nashville has long had its share of historic homes along with locals’ favorite eateries, dive bars and vintage stores.

Several acclaimed restaurants accentuate the neighborhood’s reputation for culinary excellence. Chef Sean Brock’s flagship, Audrey, honors his mother and Appalachian roots, along with his passion for Japanese architecture. Brock is also the creator of June, an intimate venue with a focus on innovative Southern dishes. Award-winning chef Philip Krajeck, recently opened Folk, which serves up pizza and seasonal Italian cuisine.

With its eclectic personality and creative talent, the neighborhood hosts its Eastside Art Stumble, which showcases open galleries and studios every second Saturday of the month. Dotting the area are beloved vintage and antique stores, from Hip Zipper Vintage and Black Shag Vintage to Old Made Good and East Nashville Antiques.
